![]() I would have had to monitor when each computer was on and then push the install. Now I could have sent a wakeup packet to all the computers on the network and pushed the install but I like to automate things and that seemed like too much intervention on my part. I used this method instead of using the ESET Remote Administrator to push the software to the clients because that only works if the computers are on. I did this by assigning the application to all users in the user configuration - software settings - software installation settings. I created a second GPO to install ESET on user login. I created a GPO that ran a script during computer startup to remove Mcafee. This is a long post so please forgive me but I figured the information may help someone else.
